TSUNAMI VISUAL TECHNOLOGIES, INC., ANNOUNCES DONATION OF
TSUMO JUNIOR UNIT TO IALEI¹S ANNUAL SILENT AUCTION
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE October 4, 2001, Fremont, California.
Tsunami Visual Technologies Inc., today announced that they have
donated one of their TsuMo™ Junior units to International Association for the
Leisure and Entertainment Industry¹s (IALEI) annual silent auction held at
AMOA / Fun Expo 2001.
The TsuMo™ system, short for Tsunami Motion, is a fully interactive coin-
operated motion simulator. Capable of full six degrees of freedom movement,
TsuMo™ enables real life simulation of any motion needed by any software
program. One of TsuMo's™ most unique features is that it can run multiple
games or motion rides on the same unit. TsuMo™ creates an experience that
cannot be duplicated at home and keeps players coming back to the arcades.
TsuMo™ is powered by electric motors, rather than higher maintenance
pneumatic or hydraulic motors that have typically been used to power motion
simulators in the past.
TsuMo™ comes in two models: the Deluxe and Junior versions. The Deluxe
model has an attractive colorful acrylic shell around the cockpit, which is
designed to maximize the player's experience by totally immersing players in
the game. This is best for larger locations where noise level is high and
games need to "stand out in a crowd." Functionally the same as the Deluxe,
the junior model features an open cockpit design, which allows interaction
between friends and is affordable for all locations. The footprint of both units
is relatively small, making the TsuMo™ an easy addition to any arcade or
family entertainment center. TsuMo™ Jr. made its premiere appearance
earlier this year at the ASI 2001 Show in Las Vegas, Nevada.
One of the distinctive features of the TsuMo™ unit is that it has the ability to
run multiple games or motion rides on the same unit. Tsunami offers low-cost
software additions, featuring proven hit titles! Operators have the choice to
show an on-screen menu of all games and rides that the player can choose
from. New titles can be quickly and easily added to your TsuMo™ system at
any time, thus maximizing the life cycle of the unit and promoting a quick
return on your investment. Now there is no more guessing game on when to
replace your old titles with new ones! Keep good earning games in place, and
add exciting new software too! While some software titles are single player,
such as our top earning hit Beach Head 2000, others like Crimson Skies allow
players to compete head-to-head by linking multiple units together.
