TSUNAMI VISUAL TECHNOLOGIES ANNOUNCES NEW PARTNERSHIP
WITH RAW THRILLS
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – November 18, 2005, Fremont, California
Tsunami Visual Technologies, Inc. is pleased to announce a new
partnership with leading arcade game developer Raw Thrills. Raw Thrills has
selected Tsunami’s proprietary motion base as the platform for the super
deluxe version of their upcoming release, due in early 2006.
Tsunami previously worked with Raw Thrills to produce the motion-based
driving simulator version of the hit game “The Fast and the Furious.” The
motion-based version was formally introduced at the AMOA in Las Vegas in
September, and is currently shipping.
Darren Decatoire, the newly appointed Director of Sales & Marketing of
Tsunami, stated, “We’ve heard so much encouraging feedback from the
industry regarding our joint project with Raw Thrills on ‘The Fast and the
Furious.’ The number one driving game utilizing the number one motion base
technology makes perfect sense. This next game is just another ‘natural.’”
Eugene Jarvis, President of Raw Thrills, remarked, “Working with the Tsunami
team on ‘The Fast and the Furious’ was a wonderful experience. We couldn’t
be happier with the result, which is to be able to offer our customers the
coolest driving game ever.” Jarvis continued, “Deluxe games with motion are
becoming more and more of a requirement for the arcade, to provide a unique
out-of-home game experience. Working with a reputable motion base
provider like Tsunami is a natural fit for Raw Thrills.”
Jay C. Yuan, President of Tsunami, added, “When I first heard the content of
Raw Thrills’ new game, I was very excited. It has always been Tsunami’s
dream to produce such a game, but we could never find the right content.
Knowing the ability of Raw Thrills to tap into game players’ wavelength,
combined with our proven motion base solution, we have great faith that this
game will be another huge hit.”
